I've been through the mop "ringer" if you will. Every mop seems to have it's perks but they all fall short in one way or another.Swiffer: quick but doesn't clean anything more than some dust or small messes.Spin Mops: clean pretty well but do I really need to fill up and lug a bucket around to clean up a small mess?Steam Mops: More gimmick than functional...The list continues...Long story short this mop is the best all-around mop I've used yet. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the cleaning pads that come with the mop aren't the best quality (you can see the pictures attached to my review.)I went ahead and bought some upgraded pads - I bought these - and it's basically made this the best mop I've ever used. I also included a comparison pic of the included pads and the ones I bought. The new pads do a lot better job picking up hair, dust, dirt etc. That said they aren't the perfect size (as they're for a different mop) so I had to stretch them while putting them on & the sides of the mop head are a little exposed. Worth it for the better functionality but you may disagree. But for me, turbo mop pads combined with the microfiber wholesale mop is the perfect combo.Anyways the mop itself is compact enough for storing anywhere, adjustable in length making it suitable for virtually any job, heavy duty enough that I doubt it breaks like my last 17 Swiffer's...Overall it's a great mop with the exception of the included pads.
We’ve all owned a sponge mop. They always leave too much water on the floor, get nasty, are hard to find replacements for. Well, this Microfiber Mop is AMAZING!!! It’s so easy to use. The pad is held on with Velcro type material. It’s a gentle tug to remove. You get the head wet and roll it up to remove excess water. Pop is back in the mop and do your floors! I used just the damp mop for my hard wood and added a little diluted Mr Clean with a spray bottle for my linoleum and laminate. The results are amazing! No streaks. No foot prints or water spots. No excess water. They all dried instantly! After, I removed the pad and rinsed under hot water. Hung to dry. I bought additional wash pads, so that when several get soiled, I can pop them in the machine.I’ve posted on FB and all my friends are excited to hear of this revolution is floor cleaning! I’m so glad I found this one. OTHERS have had complaints of weak handles or lack of movement...THIS ONE is the best. I can’t say it enough. I will never use anything else.
I am not exaggerating when I say that this mop has changed my life. I used to have to get down on the floor and clean every inch by hand, because every other mop that I tried left streaks and skipped over dirty spots. Even though I love my floor, I really regretted getting it. It was such a ridiculous amount of work. With this mop, the floor is wiped clean and shiny the first time. I'm saving so much time, and it looks beautiful. I'm ecstatic!

Seriously, you know you're old when a simple mop can send you into a rapture. For years--decades--I've struggled to find a simple, sturdy sponge mop that does more than move around the dirt on my floors. This mop saved me from going back to scrubbing the floors on my hands and knees with an old towel, something I dread doing now that I'm over 70. So I just used it for the first time (therefore cannot speak to durability), but let's start with the packaging and assembly. Right out of the box, I noticed NO PLASTIC covering, just two pieces that take a second to insert, a cardboard covering over the mop head, and no instructions needed. This baby is the Lexus of sponge mops, okay? I love the way you can squeeze it practically dry or anywhere in between drippy and dry. I know it picked up the dirt because the water was dirty by the time I finished the kitchen and two bathrooms in less time than it would take me to sweep the floors. If you're tired of gimmicks and things that break or need endless refills, invest thirty bucks in this mop and forget about all the other spin mops and electric gizmos that are out there. All you need is this mop, a bucket, and a cleaner of your choice (mine is Pine Sol). No aching back, no irritating bells and whistles: just a mop that cleans your floors. Seriously, people, I could do an infomercial on this sensible, no-fuss product.
Very few good wringer type mops on the market since Swiffer type products have taken over. The number of years that I have used mops would make most depressed so I'll suffice to say that I have tried many brands over the years. This is hands down the best. FYI I used it on ceramic tile, but I could see it being effective on whatever flooring that you usually need a mop for. The reasons:1. Good weight....not too heavy.2. Wrings out the most amt of water I've ever seen, so floor dries in one half the time...truly amazing3. The sponge is so effective that there is no need for a "scratchy" edge to take up scuff or hard to remove marks4. You don't have to be super person to get the wringer mechanism to work properlyI wish I had known about this mop 30 years ago. It is worth every penny.I just got it, so I haven't changed the head, but I did watch the you tube video before I bought the mop and it appears to be a no brainer type operation, which is a change from most mop head wrestling matches. I did buy a extra mop head at the same time I bought the mop.
I purchased this mop on April 17, 2018. After a few uses, the edge of the sponge head started to tear away from the body of the sponge head. An image is attached. I've called Casabella twice and e-mailed them with a description of the problem and images as well as proof of purchase. The mop is supposed to come with a lifetime warranty. Its a great mop but I wouldn't expect the sponge head to disintegrate after 5 or 6 routine uses on a ceramic tile floor. So far, no response from Casabella Customer Service. Hopefully, they will read this review and reply!

I just received mine, I am really disappointed with the quality & the microfiber cloth in itself. It's cheap and very small, looks NOTHING like the picture, so don't even go by that.
I had a horrible experience--I got my package just now, it was mostly untapped, they could use the stronger tape, the pole is broken on both sides and bended, and the weird thing--the pole doesn't fit into the mop in size, the diameter of the pole is much smaller than in the plastic mop part.
I love this dust mop...I have 3 dogs and the hair is all over the floor every morning. We used to have carpet and didn't know it was there. On our new faux wood floor, if you walk barefoot you can feel the hair growing on your feet! You can also see it if the light hits just right. I didn't have a dust mop so I've been sweeping with a broom. I just got the mop yesterday and what a difference. It is so easy and doesn't miss any hair or dust. Because other reviews have mentioned the broom breaking when they shook out the dust, I take the mop off and shake it off outside. It is a flimsy contraption so I can see why that would happen, but that also makes it easy to take the mop off and put back on. No regrets. I'm sure it will last if I continue to take it off to shake.

I actually love this steam mop however I’m incredibly disgusted by Bissell customer service. I bought my steamer in February 2017 along with a 2 year protection plan and today the cap broke off the water tank. I called the protection plan and they stated it is still under manufacturing warranty. I called Bissell and they said they could replace the cap. The representative put me on hold for what seemed like 20 minutes and then told me they do not have the part in stock. She gave me the phone number and address of a local parts store here in Fort Wayne and informed me I’d have to pay for the part. I told her I would not pay for the part because I’m within the 1 year warranty plus I bought an extended warranty. She basically told me I had no choice. I do have a choice and my choice is to give a bad review and warn others that Bissell’s customer service is pathetic! I will never buy Bissell again.
This is the 3rd Bissell steam mop I have bought and every one of them has broken down or fallen apart before the warranty expires. I ordered this mop on April 1 and its now falling apart on June 23. Dealing with the Customer Service Dept, which is in the Philippines I believe, Is always tiresome. I just ordered another steam mop from a company I have never heard of mainly as I can't bear the thought of having to deal with Bissell's customer service again.
I just put the Bissell steam mop through its paces and I'm moved to write a scintillating review. It arrived today and took all of five minutes to assemble. So simple a caveman can do it. I followed the directions (note to other dissatisfied reviewers) to the letter. Filled the reservoir with distilled water (not top water and DEFINITELY no chemicals) and selected the lowest steam setting once the ready light steadied after a short warm up. Before setting out on my steam adventure, I vacuumed all of the floors so everything was dirt free. Our house is a mix of laminate floors and stone. We also live in a chemical-free and fragrance-free house so I ditched the fragrance discs. We don't need the phony manmade smells. I went with the lightest setting for the laminate since I did not want to over-hydrate the flooring. I did a careful pattern, a stroke at a time, to ensure I went over the laminate wood twice. The upstroke laid down the steam and then the downstroke ensured the sturdy mop head did its job.Our floors weren't in terrible shape but there were dirt, smudges and streaking left over from the family holidays. Also having two dogs that seem to love to bring into the house anything they find outside rounded out the state of the flooring. I noticed immediately that the floors looked clean even though they were still a little damp. The mop glides nicely over the flooring and I gotta say it was kinda fun. A little music and I'm a cleaning machine.Curiosity got the better of me so I lifted up the mop and put my hand under to see how hot the steam is. Word to the wise... steam is hot. That's why it's steam. And steam hurts. After the floors and stairs, I proceeded to tackle the stone tile in the entry way, kitchen and bathrooms. Once again I felt it was cleaning it nicely. A quick examination of the formerly-white pad found that a dark grey color now adorned the pad. That showed me this was doing the trick.I increased the steam to the middle setting when doing the entryway. That's the dirtiest part of the house and I figured correctly that the extra steam wouldn't harm the stone. At the increased setting the mop turned into a dirt-busting dervish with nothing standing in it's way.Completing the steam adventure was a snap. Cleanup and proper mop storage took a just a minute. I did spend a good fifteen minutes fawning over my now clean floors. My wife was suitably impressed and commented frequently how nice everything looked. This must be how an early man hunter-gatherer felt after bagging a mastodon for the family pack. All in all, I highly recommend this steam mop. It's lightweight, easy to use and best of all you too can impress the misses.

This is a great product. I did not know how much I needed this until I had it.Through trial and error, I've basically tried every floor cleaning solution that is not this product. String mops, sponge mops, Swiffers, and the Swiffer wet-jet thing. They all fall short in some way (or in every way for some of them). This product is all of those things combined, but better. It's a Swiffer that you don't have to buy pads for. It's a mop that you don't have to buy floor cleaner for, or change water for. It's that wet-jet nonsense, but it cleans better, and PICKS DIRT UP instead of turning it into mud and pushing it around.I was skeptical when my wife ordered this. The first time I used it, I became a believer. The steam thing is not a gimmick. Fill it up with distilled water (I was warned sternly not to use tap water), and it's ready to go. It heats up faster than the hot water on the sink, cleans better that whatever floor cleaner or Swiffer baby wipe you can buy, it dries much faster, and then you just toss the pad in the laundry and reuse it. I wish everything worked this well. This isn't a vacuum, and this isn't a broom. You should sweep the floor, at least half-assedly, beforehand. That's true with all of the other products too. I'm lazy, and I don't sweep every time. I put my hand flat on the floor, and if there are no more than three visible pieces of stuff stuck to my hand when I look at it, I skip the broom and go right to the Shark. Please don't tell my wife.
I've known I wanted one of these for a very long time (first time I saw one was on an infomercial as a kid! Heh). What made me FINALLY purchase it was Amazon's low price and knowing that I would be cleaning my floors chemical free. What made me pick this one vs any other steam mop was a review another person wrote comparing this mop to other steam mops. Sure, this was the average rated rated steam mop, but it has the longest cord and I already love my shark vacuum. What has impressed me is how easy it was to put together (less than 5 minutes), didn't even need to look at the instructions. The long cord allows me to clean longer and larger areas, which I need! The pad is easy to put on and take off, plus it picks up so much dirt and gross stuff off the floor. I also appreciate the easy pour cup. It doesn't take very long for the water to heat up either, you're moping in only a minute. It sounds so much like a cross between a steam iron and a clothing steamer.I was nervous to buy this mop because there were more than usual poor reviews about this mop either being defective, or not working as advertised. The one I got was perfect, absolutely nothing wrong. So it's either user error, or the quality control for this product isn't as good as it could be...this is the cheapest shark steam mop.I LOVE mine, I hope you love yours too.
So, I just had a professional cleaning service do a deep clean of my house. They did a great job. Then, just for kicks because I just bought it and I want to try out my new toy, I mopped the hardwood floors in my house. No disrespect to the cleaning service because they did their best, but this mop pulled up the ground in dirt and grime that a traditional mop couldn't hope to touch. The bright white mop cover came up dark brown after just one pass! I'm super glad I bought this, and I'm really glad I bought the extra covers because I could easily use multiple covers during a cleaning! At first, I thought that the cord that came with it was excessively long, but now that I've used it, I'm glad it has such a long cord because I was able to reach my whole house with minimal cord movement. The only unfortunate thing is that the handy cup that comes with it to fill the reservoir does not store on board and I can see myself losing the cup over time. Not enough to reduce the rating, just an observation.
- Clean and sanitize with both sides
- Steam on demand
- 99.9% sanitization

Wow! After reading so many glowing reviews, we were excited to give this a try.First impressions: Sturdy construction. Way better than I expected for the price. (We paid just shy of $17 on a lightning deal.) The mop heads are also thicker than I expected. The scrubber pads look like they'll do the trick. And the traditional pad is so soft I want to cuddle with it on the couch.Once we assembled it (which took about 30 seconds) we were amazed by how long the handle is. This has an amazing reach.Okay, so how did it work?! First, we soaked the pad in hot water and wrung it out. Clipping it on was easy, peesy, lemon squeezy. The mop was easy and actually fun to use! The swiveling head works amazing and it is slim enough to reach under just about anything. The mop cloth stayed firmly in place and the mopping was VERY quick compared to traditional mops. And the results? Well just take a look at the photo. I mopped over an area that we had just mopped THE DAY BEFORE with one of the infomercial spin mops (which we'll never use again.) I just soaked the pad in hot water and wrung it out. This hardwood floor area (maybe 10x10) received little to no foot traffic in that time and look how much dirt the LINKYO microfiber mop picked up! The white area is the top side of the pad that didn't touch the floor. Amazing! And it didn't leave streaks likeOk... we are believers. Everything seems durable and built to last a while. If this makes it at least 6 months it was well worth the investment. I imagine it will last much longer than that, but time will tell. I'll update when/if it starts to wear out.Any negatives? The inculded instructions were helpless. They taught you how to assemble the mop handle but there are no instructions for how to use the mop. Should we wet it? Hot water or cold? Which mop pad is for what kind of floors? How should it be washed? Can it be dried? I've found some good answers in the Q&A for this product but some instructions with the mop would have been nice.Despite that small critique, this mop gets every bit of 5 stars. Please note that I have never used the Norwex mop system (or any other microfiber mop for that matter) so I have nothing similar to compare it with. But against traditional mopping, this thing wipes up the competition!
I originally gave this 5 stars until it broke. I have a couple that cleans our house weekly so I just needed a mop to clean floors in between weekly cleanings. After a month, I noticed that I had a hard time controlling where the mop went. This mop doesn't go under or behind furniture so there's no real wear and tear but I noticed the green plastic piece at the bottom is broken (as pictured) and I can't use it anymore. Since I can't tighten it, the mop is all over the place. It's unfortunate that it broke this easily. I'm not happy
When I ordered this mop, I was replacing another microfiber mop that I bought through a home representative with Norwex. The replacement mop heads were so expensive for the Norwex that I decided to try a different brand. I also was not happy with the velcro on the Norwex that didn't hold the mop properly and often folded over on itself. Not only is the Lynkyo floor mop as good or better quality microfiber, the system for attaching it to the mop head is genius. No slippage and the mop glides effortlessly over the floor. Hooray for Linkyo!

I’ll start by saying that I really don’t like cleaning. I look for any ways to cut down on the amount of time it takes, so a spray mop is a must-have. The problem is spray mops are notorious for breaking but so far the reveal mop’s been solid as they come. Here’s my breakdown of the mop based on my experience with it so far.Overall Build Quality - Although the mop is mostly plastic (except the pole), it still feels like high quality. It’s lightweight with no setup required and the pivoting head makes it easy to reach anywhere.Sprayer/Bottle - The spray has some serious range! If you have the handle tilted back it will spray about 6 feet ahead. The spraying range can be decreased simply by tilting the handle into a more vertical position. The bottle also seems to work very well. I haven’t noticed any leaking when removing/reinstalling it and it’s easy to refill.Pads - Now the pads are the one aspect of this mop I think could be improved. After all, the pads are the part of the mop that’s picking up all the dirt. The Rubbermaid pads are not terrible, pretty much your standard microfiber mop pad. But they’re a bit on the thin side and I can tell they aren’t going to hold their form very well after washing - they were already a bit wrinkly when they were fresh out of the box. The small scrubber pad is a nice touch but I’m hesitant to use it on my wood floors since it’s fairly abrasive. That said the pads are the easiest part of the mop to fix. I saw some other reviews that mentioned different pads called turbo pads ( these ones ) so I grabbed a pack of those as well. These are noticeably thicker (see pictures) and appear to use two types of fabric. I’ve only used them a couple times so far but they pick up dirt and cat hair really well. Basically fixing the main issue I had with the mop.So overall I’m very happy with this mop. Don’t get me wrong, I still don’t like cleaning, but the reveal mop makes it a bit better - even my cat approves.
Fabulous mopping system, but.....I received a email from Amazon asking if I could help with a question about why the spray no longer came out. I went into my longest detailed explanation about how to work the mop, this morning I went to mop my floors and my spray wouldn’t come out either. Already alerted that this must be an inherent problem with the mop, I went straight to the Rubbermaid website and the mop now has a 2.0 out five rating with two common known issues. The spray stops working unless you run water through the line after each cleaning and the buttons are prone to breaking. They require you to take a picture of your mop, and they send you a new mop! No questions asked. I explained that there were no instructions about running water through the lines and they explained that, this is the reason why they are replacing the mop.
Based off my first use I am going to give this five stars. I already love this mop.I purchased this to replace a 2.5 years old Swiffer Wet Jet. If this mop only last half as long, I will feel like I got my money's worth (only $25)! I've included size comparison photos, so you can see the size of The Reveal vs Swiffer Wet Jet.The Reveal mop is light weight and a great length for met at 5'6". The Reveal allows for longer strokes and the cleaning base is substantially larger than the Swiffer Wet Jet, so you're covering more area by length and width than you would with the SWJ.The reusable cleaning cloths are great. They are not as abrasive as the disposable SWJ pads, so if you have any "stuck on" stuff you may have to put a little extra elbow grease into it.There are no batteries, instead you use a pump action trigger (similar to a spray bottle) to spray the cleaner. The sprayer sprays a really good distance. I noticed that if you do not want it to spray as far or wide, you can hold the mop arm more upright. The Rubermaid Reveal is also so much quieter than the SWJ (an added bonus when you have a sleeping toddler). The bottles that hold solution are a decent size. I was able to mop nearly all of my home (master bedroom, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, play room, front and back mud rooms and laundry room) with one bottle of solution and one cleaning pad. The cleaning pad wasn't even sopping wet by the time I was done. My cleaning time was cut down by 20 minutes! This was a great purchase and I would definitely recommend! My set came with the mop (no assembly required), two solution bottles and three reusable cleaning pads.
- Safe to use on all floor types including hardwood, vinyl, laminate and tile
- Microfiber cleaning pad picks up 50 percent more dirt and dust per swipe than traditional mops
- Non scratch scrubber for stubborn spots

This mop and bucket has cured my fears of using a traditional mop. I have always used a swiffer, because well, it’s easy and has an easy clean up. However, I’ve never felt like it does the mostest when it comes to actually cleaning the floor. I love this mop and bucket, because it’s easy and doesn’t leave you with dirty water that you’re just spreading all over the floor! The drying part of the bucket is my favorite! Also, you could figure out how to use this without reading the instructions (for all you men). When you’re done, there’s little twist off caps on the bottom to empty out the bucket. I went the old fashioned way and used regular ole dawn dish soap to clean my floors! I think my husband likes using it as much as me 😂
I was excited to try out this mop for the first time. I have over 1000 square feet of tile in my home and finding the right mop has been a never-ending search. This mop checks all the boxes! It was easy to assemble (maybe 3-5 minutes, including getting the box open). First, this is the first mop I've owned that could stand upright and not be falling over every time I leaned it up against something - one reason I dislike mopping. The bucket holds the mop tightly and it a very small footprint! I love that the bucket is more rectangular, tall, and thin. It will easily fit between my washer and the wall if I choose to store it there. This is a very clever design! The bucket has two compartments, permanently separated by a molded wall between them; each compartment has a rubber plug at the bottom that can be removed for emptying, although I found it just as easy to take the top off and pour it out and also rinse the dirty water side. The top fits snugly but is still easy to remove. The assembled mop has a long padded section at the top and a shorter padded section in the middle for your hands. The "head" is flat and swivels, although it's snug enough to not be spinning when you mop (it does twist a little as you draw it back and forth). The microfiber pad is a thick one! Very nice - and you get an extra one. So, after everything is assembled, remove the top and fill the water section to the line indicated. Put the lid back on and fold the head of the mop flat against the handle - it will only do this one way and you can see the side where it works. Make sure the handle side of the mop fits into the opening just for the handle and slide the mop down into the water side; I pulled it up and down a few times to make sure it was wet; pull the mop straight up and, keeping it in the same position, put it into the "dry" side. This fit is a little tighter so that water can be squeezed out of the pad; it took 2-3 times to learn exactly how to do it and then it was really easy. After mopping an area on my floor (I use a squeeze bottle of cleaner to squirt cleaner onto the floor), I rinsed the mop in the water and dried it and moved to a new section. Because the mop head is almost flat, it reached underneath a lot of things my previous mop wouldn't without me bending way over. Having squared corners, it reached into my corners and cleaned them easily. Even just going under the kick plate of cabinets was a breeze! I really liked that my floor was dry in just a couple of minutes because the pad wasn't sopping wet! It was simple to empty after cleaning and I just rinsed it and set it outside to dry. I like that the top is covered so when it's stored, dust/insects won't get inside. This mop is very easy to use and I really like the two compartment bucket. All in all, I would highly recommend this product!
Spray mops and steam mops don’t deliver enough moisture or put it in the wrong place. Then you have to change the cleaning cloth or rinse and wring it, getting your hands wet and dirty.Single-use pads don’t stay put, don’t do a whole floor, don’t scrub well, and aren’t environmentally sound. Plus the mop handles are flimsy and most are not long enough for a person over 5’4”.THIS MOP IS THE BOMB! The handle is extra sturdy and long with nice handle and cushioned grip. The cleaning cloth is thick and does a great job of scrubbing…took black scuffs and tracked in, sticky dog poop off my hardwood with little effort! It attaches firmly and easily and doesn’t slip around while you mop.The included mop bucket is GENIUS! Holds your mop water, cleans the cleaning cloth when you plunge the mop in and pull it out, and wrings the cloth to your preferred dampness…wetter for harder stuff, medium for regular mopping, and drier for a quick spiff-up. Just plunge it once, twice, or three times! No wet, dirty hands. No replacing cloths or cloths slipping off the mop head. No floppy handle and unresponsive mop head. No sweat! And done in half the time.
- MOP TASTIC- A two grooved bucket allows you to wet and dry your mop.
- QUALITY MICROFIBER PAD- Two reusable microfiber pads give you the chance to clean over and over again with the benefit of them being machine washable.

Had to give this a chance for it's simplicity and ease of use. It is an underachiever. Like many other reviews - this does not have enough power to do what is needed for tile floors - it lightly dances across the surface. Perhaps for buffing and dusting floors it would suffice - just didn't suit our needs. Repackaged for return within 15 minutes of opening and testing it.
We are absolutely loving our Gladwell cordless mop! It charges very quickly and holds its charge for quite a long time! I love how lightweight this mop is...it glides along the floor with ease and without a lot of effort on my part! I also love how it gets right up along the baseboards of my walls! I also love that I can switch out the pads and use the "scrubbier" ones for tough spots like areas in my kitchen! Great feature!I was concerned at first because I have never used a mop like this that doesnt have a spot to hold cleaner. It was a little bit of a learning curve for me at first but now I just spray the pads before use and carry a spray bottle with me to keep the floor damp. Kind of time-consuming but I am sure there is an easier way!I would absolutely recommend this product for anyone looking for a lightweight mop that basically self-propels! Would be great for someone with arthritis or less strength in their hands.
This electric mop is the PERFECT household cleaning tool to get your kids excited about helping with chores! The adjustable handle makes it just the right size for anyone, from toddlers to adults. Clean your floors SAFELY with just vinegar & water. No harsh chemicals necessary thanks to the scrubbing power of the spinning pads on the Gladwell Electric Mop! Say goodbye to hauling around heavy buckets of water and storing stinky, wet mops. The scrubber pads on this mop velcro on and off for easy removal and the best part - they're machine washable!

I wanted this mop because it offered me the opportunity to use my own healthy cleaning solutions without having to use pre-made, chemical-laden cleaners.I so regret this purchase!I read others’ reviews stating the head detached too easily; still others said how much they loved it and never had a problem with the head detaching. Who to believe???Well ... IT DETACHES!You dust, you sweep, and you’re wrapping your cleaning up with the final step: mopping. And the stupid mop head keeps detaching. I’m ready to be done with housecleaning for the day but can’t get finished without stopping MULTIPLE times to reattach the mop head! Not sure if I’ve missed a deadline to return, but I sure will be looking into it!O-Cedar, you’re better than this! There have been enough complaints about this issue that you should realize you have a design flaw and fix it!
Save your money, give a little more credence to the negative reviews. After a week of very light use just doing quick spot clean ups, the sprayer broke. I would gladly pay a little more for a thing that's well made. I bought this based on the reviews here, and the quality of this thing makes me doubt the validity of some of the more positive reviews. Just being a stop from the factory to the dump is getting old with all this cheap junk. I would ask the people that buy it, and use it once and proclaim it a miracle mop to give it a month before dropping five stars on it, as I'm not sure you can take them back.
It's a fact that most cleaning products are made of cheap lightweight plastic these days, just the opposite of the idea that they should be tough and durable for such a challenging job. I usually try to buy commercial-grade mops, brooms and other cleaning supplies but there seems to be a definite lack of this specific type of damp mop being made for the janitorial industry. And typically commercial maintenance mops are too soaking wet for moisture-sensitive residential-grade wood laminate flooring.I had the popular mop with the disposable pre-moistened pads and while it may be okay for a quick mop-up of a spill in the kitchen it is totally unsuited to damp mop an entire floor plan constructed with laminate. The moisture built into the pad doesn't spread evenly or go where I want it to and there's not enough of it to do even one room before drying out and getting too dirty to be effective.I almost bought the Bona equivalent because I like that the liquid is user refillable but no matter where I looked people who owned them said they were flimsy and broke easily. It was hard to find anything positive, in fact. Then I happened to see this at a store and was impressed that by comparison. It just seemed better made. I like that the mop head is much larger than most and that it can be flipped so I can damp mop my entire downstairs without changing or cleaning the pad. The reservoir is easy to remove and fill and the nozzle is more than just a hole, it sprays a fine mist over a larger area. I like little things too, like the shape of the handle lets me change hand positions if I get tired and the trigger is easy to reach and pump. The wrap-around microfiber pad is superior at scrubbing out little problem spots and the way it attaches is a better design than the stick-on hook and loop pads other brands use. Because it wraps around there are no sharp edges to scratch and dent furniture and baseboards.HINT: there is a push button to release the reservoir for refilling. Because there is a built-in “O” ring to prevent leakage it isn’t as easy to push it back in place as you might expect. It’s a lot easier if you hold the release button in while you press firmly down on the reservoir until it clicks into place. I’m glad that they’ve designed it with such a tight fit … no worries about leakage. Is it commercial grade and will it last forever? No and I doubt it ... it's what you get for the price these days. But all things considered, after seeing all of the choices available, I think it is the best choice out there.
