This was advertised to sound like a natural stone product. But this is just the same a PTFE, aka Teflon. I am throwing these pans away and warning others. This is not what you think.

First Impressions:Just got this pan. First impressions out of the box are good. Pan is hefty, pretty thick which is good. Nice flat bottom and they include a nice little pan protector if you stack your pans. (Pic included...set a plate on it cuz it didn't wanna lay flat right out of the package.) Mine hang so I probably won't use it for now.Coating:Not sure about the "Stonehenge" coating. The label inside the pan says "Greblon C3" is used (not C3+). However on Greblon's site C3 isn't even listed as being ceramic reinforced. It is only listed as reinforced PTFE.Which brings me to the next thing, I don't personally care but the coating is only PFOA free, not PTFE free. If you're looking for PTFE free though, keep looking, your princess is in another castle.Aside from that the coating feels solid and looking at the edges seems fairly thick. With it being PTFE and not ceramic based though definitely avoid metal utensils like the plague. Some ceramic coatings can take them...This will not. From what I can tell there is no ceramic in the plain C3 so treat it like a normal nonstick pan. (Source: Forgot Amazon won't allow links of any kind...anyway google Greblon C3 and it is pretty easy to find their chart with the different coatings.)Build quality:Initial impressions are build quality is good. Three rivet handle should stay in place for a good long time. The silicon is comfortable to hold and solidly bonded to the handle. Page says it is heat resistant silicon but page nor manual says to what temp. So I would lean towards "Not oven safe".The bottom of the pan as received is very flat. Time will tell if it domes or not. It's fairly thick and heavy so I'm hoping it doesn't. There's a photo as well showing my test of the bottom of the pan. Had it sitting on a flat counter after the first wash. Water bead sits in the middle of the pan (or wherever you move it to) without running to the edges like it would if it was domed.Coating and outer enamel are very even and there are no strange smells or anything that I can detect.Final thoughts:Initial impressions have me satisfied with my purchase. Though I am a little disappointed that the coating does not seem to have any ceramic in it the rest of the build quality seems quite nice. I will update this review once I have used it for a few weeks.PS: For anyone wanting to know if lids fit, it's 10 1/8" Included a pic with tape measure.UPDATE: Because as my single commenter points out, first impression reviews are not the be all end all. Here is an update. It has been about 1 year and 8 months since I bought this pan. The coating is not *perfectly* nonstick anymore but it has held up better than any nonstick pan I've had before. The biggest issue is one scratch from a roommate who has been appropriately summarily flogged for using a metal utensil in my wonderful nonstick pan. Don't use metal utensils in any nonstick pan and expect them to last as long. That's just good reasoning. So downside, things will stick to that spot without a little oil or something in the pan.Eggs will also stick slightly at this point. I think the pan may have also been overheated a time or two by the same roommate because the coating in the center (where the flame is on our gas stove) is just ever so slightly more tan than the rest. Need to hide my good pans...Anyway overall, it's nearly two years later and this nonstick is pretty darn good still despite some abuse. Which is more than I can say for most of the nonsticks I've owned.

Description says "STONEHENGE coating made by Weilburger GmbH, Germany" but it appears Weilburger does not make a "STONEHENGE" coating. It also shows "STONEHENGE" is a registered trademark but a search of the USPTO.gov shows no registered trademark.I returned the pan. It is not what the description lead me to believe.

I've been a big fan of TeChef products over the past few years. They're about all I use now -- except for my old, trusty Berndes big saute for major meals. What TeChef does best, IMO, is produce terrific, 12' saute pans. This is my third, and easily the best, most complete pan I have. The stone coating is fabulous, and provides swift, even heat with my gas range. For example, last night I sauteed some ham pieces, mixed in some potatoes O'brian, and let that cook for just five minutes, before adding a scrambled egg and gruyere cheese combo and, effectively, stir frying for another two minutes. Voila! We had a perfect -- cooked, tho velvety soft, kind of Spanish tortilla that was the best we'd ever had. This pan is a gem! What's more, TeChef makes a great, 12' glass cover which fits all it's 12' pans -- and worked well with this, too. (Requires a separate purchase, but well worth it.) The top, itself, has two nice qualities beyond the see-thru glass: first, it has a steam release; second, it can stand on its side while you stir -- so no oils or drippings when it's not in use. This pan will now be my go-to -- along with the TeChef 12" Wok-style pan, which is super, too -but a cut below the quality of this Infinity pan.

So here's my long term review. Exact date of purchase was March 17, 2019, so it's been 11 months since the date of purchase and visually it looks as good as new but the teflon as deteriorated where everything sticks including my eggs. I'm not sure why it as as good reviews as it does but I would not give it 5 stars, maybe brand new and a few months old.Like all new product, it work perfect well initially and I loved the product. It was only within the last week I noticed that the teflon coating was deteriorating and my eggs stuck onto it like an annoying mess. I'd like to claim warranty but it'd cost me 20$ for just shipping one way so this product is a single use item sadly. I'm not sure why I expected this to be more reliable than my old warmart purchase, but that is my case.Other than the teflon durability, imo this skillet is still very nice. But i'm not looking to purchase lackluster product with some extraordinary claim like "1 pan coated with Teflon nonstick delivers the same level of nonstick performance as 7 ceramic pans."Again, claiming warranty is still not worth the price due to shipping cost of nearly 20$ and that's just 1 way. I may as well buy another one.2 Stars.

This is not the first pan that I buy from Techef. But this one is definitely different than all the other ones. I have several of the pans from the onyx collection and they have more of your traditional Teflon. This pan is from the infinity collection and coating is completely different. It has more of the stone speckled feeling to it.PROS:** Induction:I have an induction stovetop and it’s been really difficult for me to find good cookware. Pans have either been good quality but not induction or induction but of terrible quality. I was really happy to find that this pan has everything I needed. Good quality induction at a great price.** Weight:Like my other Techef pan this one has a nice weight to it. It doesn't feel lightweight and flimsy like some other pans I've owned. This on weightier but is as well balanced as a top dollar pan.** Heat distribution:I use this with an induction stovetop and it does wonderfully. It heats up quickly and evenly so there are no hot spots on my pan.** Handle:The handle has a type of finger pad or rest on it. It makes it feel a lot sturdier and more stable when moving it around. I also really like the fact that It has a good size hole on the end of the pan handle. It's convenient since I can hang it if I choose to.CONS:The only thing that could make this pan better is a lid. Not a deal breaker for me since my old 12” Techef lid fits this pan perfectly.VERDICT:I’m really happy with my pan. I think Techef has really figured out this whole introduction cookware. I have some of their pans that I use every single day and they still look and perform as good as the first day. Great quality, non stick at a reasonable price. I'm sold.

This thing was fantastic at first - amazing how easily things just slide off & water beads up almost in spheres, like on nasturtium leaves. Over time, and following the manufactures recommendations (no oil, low-medium heat max, etc.), the thing sticks like my old stainless steel Revere Ware frying pans. Really disappointed in the level of quality after only a couple months. My crummy old $7 wal-mart pan that I take backpacking is better than this is now.The other negative is that it contains PTFE - which the advertising is misleading on. If you've got cash to burn, this is phenomenal for the first couple months, but be prepared to be disappointed or purchase another after a few months - even religiously following the manufacturer's recommendations.

Disappointed. The surface is rough and scratched up. I have only used wood or plastic utensils and hand washed. Hot garbage. Do not recommend.

These pans are worth their price! They require low heat, clean up the easiest of any pan on the market, and last a long time. I have three pans and have bought additional ones to use as gifts. I started using these pans when the 8" skillet was sold for a nice low promotional price. I was browsing in a kitchen supply store for gifts and the sales clerks kept leading their customers to the Swiss Diamond pans; absolutely recommending them. I was intrigued by this and decided to give the pans a try. My first pan (several years of almost daily use) has some small marks on the bottom, but the performance has not been marred by this. I was really happy to see the company offer a fry pan with a lid. It works very well and I prefer to see how my food looks while it's cooking. I agree with the reviewers who stated that they would prefer a higher side to the pan - because it is somewhat shallow and it doesn't fit as much food as my other 10" fry pans. But, the benefits more than compensate for that and if I need a deeper pan, I use something else.

Shouldn't have to wash and wipe this many times. That's why I have 2 stars for cleaning. I'm still getting black flex pieces on my eggs and fish. Food is too dry without some type of butter. Here's hoping the specks eventually wipe out.Other than that it is easy to clean and there is no sticking.

Best pans ever! Best non-stick I've ever owned. They claim you can use metal utensils but I haven't tried yet (I'm afraid to as I love these pans so much). Have used non-stick spray and it's fine and well as oil or nothing at all. Love Love Love!

We like these frying pans and don't want our overall rating of 4 to mislead anyone! We haven't owned nor used them long enough to get a true feel for the worthiness of the same. So far they seem to live-up to features we rated at 5 stars, but these ratings could be appreciated more over time...so time will tell. These fryers don't have the traditional smooth coated cooking surfaces that come with most other non-stick cookware! The cooking surface is kind of "granular", but the ceramic coating works well as a non-stick coating and seems durable enough. These fryers are very sturdy...thick metal below the coating with the only issue we noticed was they take longer to heat-up, but once they've reached the optimum temperature...they cook nice and even and perform well against any style of utensil...spoons, spatulas and the like. No more hand washing to protect the cooking surface coating. The dishwasher cleans them nicely! Seems so far to us that they fit what we were looking for!

Oh many, I love pans like this. I have a set of Green Pans I've used for years (approximately 5-6) and they're kind of wearing down. Especially my big one that is this size. I love over-medium eggs, and you have to have the right pan to do that without breaking the yolk. My step-sister pointed this out to me and recommended it, so I bought one for my boyfriend (his Green Pans were FAR worse off than mine!). And he LOVED it. He's quite the cook and has specific opinions about his cooking tools and he loves this. He can make eggs with no sticking, ground beef, chicken, veggies, anything! We've never once had to SCRUB something off of it. It just wipes off like a dream! So, in a fit of jealousy I bought a second one for me (clearly he and I don't live together, hence needing my own). I also love mine! They have both held up beautifully. Keep in mind we try to care well for them (let them cool before washing, hand wash only, etc.). I made a boo-boo the other day and forgot to turn off the burner (gas) the other day. It was several hours before I noticed the remnants of my breakfast were still cooking in the pan... This finally seemed to be the thing to do damage to the pan, but this is a ME problem, not a pan problem. I had to put a lot of effort and care into getting most of the residue cleaned off. But you know what? Now that I have, it is basically back to new! So even my big mess up didn't destroy the pan somehow. And if it had, I would have just bought another because I love this guy. What do I wish? I could get a whole set in all different shapes, styles, sizes.

Really like this non-stick fry pan. This is the fourth one I've purchased from various outlets...all different brands. He's what this one does that the others, collective, did not ... is dishwasher-safe, the non-stick surface stays non-stick, cook surface stays flat even after being subjected to high heat on the cooktop, discolorations easily scrub off.If you own one, I don't know what your experience was with this frypan, but mine was top notch. I would buy it again and again. Nonstick Ceramic Copper Frying Pan: Non-Stick Skillet with Glass Lid - Round Aluminum Saute Pan For Gas, Electric and Induction Cooktops - 10 Inches

I haven't bought a non-stick plan in over ten years, so needless to say my old-school black Teflon pans were likely poisoning us for years, lol. This pan is pretty amazing! You can cook an egg on it with no oil and it still won't stick. I'm very impressed! Its nice and heavy; seems to be a quality product.Update 2/18/18: the non-stick is not quite so non-stick now. Not terrible, but even with oil/butter, things are sticking...
