This shoe does run true to size, so there's no need for adjustments. I bought these shoes from Amazon for a great price at $63, which I thought was a steal. Right off the box they feel great, and there's no break in required. On the court they felt explosive, sometimes when I would run for shots, making lateral cuts and what not, and you wouldn't even know you're wearing them sometimes. That's how light it is. My first tennis shoes were Asics, and I thought they were alright, and then Nike, which I liked, durability and stability wise. And once I bought these I thought they were great, there are times where I wouldn't want to take it off, and with the prime knit upper, it gives that extra comfort and breathability. If you're looking for a tennis shoes that's lightweight, breathable, explosive and low to the ground, this one's for you.
These shoes are pretty much fantastic. It didn't take much break in time but they did the job really well. I have had these shoes for about 4 weeks and there are signs of the outsole already becoming worn out but other than that, it is really comfortable but I would go half a size up for a more snug fit.
I used Barricades for most of my life, but I found out after using the shoes that the lightness makes your game better. I got out way more than I expected with these shoes. The only thing is that they are slightly more slippery than my Barricade V's, but I think it's because the slide game is part of the modern game now on hard courts. I don't think I can go back to any other shoe. The overall shoe is also just more comfy than the Barricades. It feels lower to the ground and softer but enough for extreme support like the Barricades.

These shoes are great for table tennis. Allow you to "feel" the floor and move, but give great stability.I wear a 9.5. I ordered a 9.5 and they fit perfectly. I like them so much, I ordered a second pair, because I'mafraid they will be hard to find when I need them again. - Bob
Based on the two previous reviews I took a chance and ordered this unknown brand of table tennis shoes. I am pleasantly surprised.Previously I bought a pair of Joola Switch-B shoes, which turned out to be two sizes too small and had to return them. The Humgfeng shoes are just as good, if not better, in design, material and built quality, at 2/3 the cost, including shipping. The shoe size is just right. I wear US size 8.5 and the shoes fit well with just enough room for a pair of thick athletic socks. On the shoe box in Chinese it advertises as "specially designed for table tennis," and it shows in the good traction, light weight, and comfort. It has a good sole design for quick stop and start. It is made mostly of a mesh material which makes it light and breathable, but reinforced with thin vinyl coating that makes the shoes more durable. The sole has three holes and a triangular hole, as well as breathing holes on the insole to help keep the shoes cooler. See attached pictures.Paid a little over $4 for shipping, although it was estimated to take 3 to 6 weeks for shipping from China, but the vendor shipped it "international express," and I received it in a week.Overall, I am very happy with this purchase, and plan to buy another pair as a backup, just in case I can't find this brand in the future. Will try to update the review in a few months to report on the durability of the shoes. Meanwhile, I highly recommend these shoes for table tennis aficionados.January 2019 update: Bought a second pair in May 2018, have been wearing both pairs alternately. Playing on average 6 hours a week. So far I can hardly detect any wear on the soles of the shoes.
Somewhat comfortable when put on, walking in these shoes is OK; feels very soft. Playing table tennis is different story: The sole is very soft and just bends without any cushioning. Feet always slide sideways when moving because there is absolutely no side support. This is not a good table tennis shoe
- Meets all the demands of a professional table tennis player as well as other indoor activities.
- Absorbent mesh material keeps the foot dry and comfortable.
- Durable rubber sole offers a good grip on any playing surface which fits with additional stability and shock dampening.

I have been using the Adidas Barricade 2016 & 2015 and was looking for another Adidas shoe with a little more room in the toe box and perhaps even save some money. The Novak Pro is an excellent answer to my dilemma. The shoe offers great support and the arch is above "slightly medium" in the height of the arch. I chose--for many reasons but all for my own foot--to move from an 11.5D to a 12D. I use half-sole inserts on top of the shoes own innersole. I play both singles tennis and doubles; while I weigh slightly more than 200lbs I run a lot and I am pretty fast. The shoes advertised as "light weight" or even those of Adidas with "Boost" or "Adizero" in the name are not really designed to take the punishment of someone who weighs in North of 190lbs.The material of the shoe is not a "vented" material. The material is a very supple "vinyl-like" material (for lack of a better descriptive). There are vents in the center-top of the toe box which should allow for adequate ventilation. For those guys who have extremely "sweaty" feet, this might not work well in extremely hot weather. The heel cup grips the heel well. The lacing system allows for a reasonably tight "cinching" of the laces without "biting" into the top of your foot and at the dorsal side of the ankle (top). This was a problem with the Barricade 2016--at least in my case. The shoe is attractive and the material should allow me to actually keep my white shoes looking clean because they essentially wipe clean! These are great shoes! While I tend to belong to the "never pay retail" club, even the regular retail price-point is less than the Barricade 2016. They are comfortable, no real need to break-in (wear them out of the box) and have great cushion & support! These are a real winner!
Best tennis shoes on the market in my opinion. Fit and flexed perfect right out of the box with no break in. Very comfortable even in hot weather. Great support and stability.

It's obvious how cheaply made these shoes are. All man made materials cheaply put together and NO arch support, just a thin spongy, flat insole. Lucky for me that the fit is on the loose side and I could put a supportive insole into it. Played couple of days with these and they're ok, somewhat lacking in support and durability yet to be determined.I believe all these "name" manufacturers make these cheap branded shoes specifically for online sales. This is my second attempt on trying to get a decent pair of tennis shoes from Amazon. My previous order was for an Asic brand and that shoes was worse than this one. Guess it's time to give up online shoe purchase and go to a retail store so I can actually see and test what I'm getting.
Very disappointed with ADIDAS. I have 17 shoe models, all ADIDAS and all size 10 1/2. I never had problems with sizes. But the last three models I bought (Adidas Men's Rockadia Trail M Running Shoe, Black / Black / Energy, 10.5 M US,Adidas Men's Rockadia Trail m, Core Black / Matte Silver / Carbon, 10.5 M US and Adidas Men's Approach Tennis Shoe, White / Metallic Silver / Black, 10.5 M US) all have problem with size. The first two smaller 1/2 size and the last 1/2 larger size. This is a problem since I live outside the USA. and I can not return them for change. It is clear that the quality controls of ADIDAS are not the same, since I do not understand why there is so much variation between sports models lately I DEFINITELY DO NOT BUY MORE ADIDAS SHOES !!!!
This is only my 2nd pair of tennis shoes that I've owned, since beginning to play, but the 1st pair was also Adidas (different style--maybe Barricade?), and both were size 10.5. Compared to this pair, I liked my old Adidas much better, both for fit and look. The main factor for me in purchasing these was the price, as they were quite reasonable. But I am really surprised how different they fit from my old pair, given that it's the same company, size, and both are tennis shoes. The heel area fits normally, but the front part of the foot is much larger and looser, and even with the laces as tight as I could, my feet slide at least 1 cm side to side in the shoe. They are for a much wider foot. The space from the toe to the front of the shoe is also greater than my old 10.5's, I would say this fits a half size large. The old ones were a touch snug, these are too big. After several months of wearing these, I like them even less. Not comfortable around the tongue, and a bad fit in general. Will not buy this style again, though I like Adidas. The traction seems fine on the court, but I'm not overly impressed by the traction all around. The tongue and ankle area is also not the most comfortable fit. They seem well made, but I'm wishing I'd ordered another pair of Barricades or whatever the old shoes were.

I usually find that tennis shoes aren't super comfortable, they feel extremely stiff, but these are amazing. I bought them because I love Asics running shoes (Gel Kayanos), so figured these would fit me well too, and they do. I love the arch support for the type of shoe.
Amazing traction on har-tru. Night and day compared to hard soles. Size was exactly correct. These were a little stiff for the first couple of weeks but now very comfortable.
I have used these clay court shoes on clay for about 5 matches now and love them.. No break in very comfortable and with lots of cushion.
